We are looking for someone with:

Excellent research and English writing skills (good command of Chinese is a plus.)

Outstanding academic record, preferably with published research.

A postgraduate degree from top universities; undergraduate students with excellent academic backgrounds might be considered.
Responsibilities:

Conduct research within China House’s three main initiatives (human development, conservation, and sustainable BRI), and research and write in-depth, professional, and research papers or insight blogs.

We are looking for someone with:

6+ months of project management and team management experience.

Teaching or assistant teaching experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:

Assist with China House’s online PBL teaching.

Oversight of individual student’s PBL desk research, remote interviews, and data analysis.

Give students feedback on their research proposal and help students with the editing of their final research.

Provide students with professional knowledge and research guidance using their areas of expertise.

Participate in the development and teaching of China House’s Global Citizen course.
Workload and time frame:

Interested in working part-time/full-time for one year or more.

Be able to devote more than 20h a week to China House during project periods.

Internship Programs

Interns must be able to commit for a period of 3-5 months, with the ability to extend work time as appropriate. Flexible working hours depending on responsibilities, minimum 1 day a week.
All Interns are managed and mentored by an Associate or Senior Associate of their functional team.
Internship posts include:
Graphic design:

Assist with the rollout of an organizational brand refresh, across print and digital content.

Concept templates for social media posts.
-
Create infographics and other data visualization projects.
-
Update long-form documents such as reports, brochures, and flyers.

Assist with video production for Tiktok.

Act as general support for the Communications Team.
Content production:
-
Assist with the draft, edit, and post content to our WeChat subscribers.
-
Proofread editorial content, newsletters, press releases, reports, educational resources, and other publications.
-
Monitor news coverage and flag relevant stories in our areas of work to share or comment on.
Social media and marketing:
-
Assist in maintaining China House’s social media platforms, including drafting for Facebook/LinkedIn/Instagram/Zhihu/Weibo posts, developing content calendars, and scheduling posts.
Legal:
-
Follow up on legal and regulatory developments affecting the operations of the organization.

Review internal and corporate documents for updating, revision, and corrections as needed.

Review organizational policies to ensure appropriate implementation.
Administrative support:
-
Provide daily logistical, research, report writing, data organization, and other administrative support.
-
Help set up and manage meetings, take notes, and provide follow-ups.
